Haza
Annecy opening movie - this year the theme being Hungary we decided to honour it through the imagery of homeland, family and roots which are major concepts to the Hungarian way of living.
We also wanted to show it through the perspective of Hungarian youth, which is often divided between the kith and kin culture and having to move abroad to build a life for themselves.
Our short film narrates the last day of summer of a young girl at her family house, before leaving to study abroad.
